Running a Simulation

Creating and Viewing Simulations

This tool allows users to run new simulations using the loaded forecast as input and view results for simulations.

There are four types of simulations that can be run in FireSim:

  1. Test - Used to conduct what-if scenarios for future predicted high risk areas.

  2. Incident - Used if an actual fire has occurred and you want to run simulations for it.

  3. Damaged Assets - Used to simulate the potential consequences if a damaged asset were to cause a fire.

  4. Reconstruction - Used to simulate and analyze the events of a past fire incident.
